Pandora

A fool?

Or maybe just curious

to delve into the water,

albeit stormy

and filled with monsters.

Or maybe just consumed

with passion for life,

and desire

To dance with the sun,

even when the flames burn.

To run through the rain,

even when the thunder shakes its mighty fist,

and the heavens flood the Earth.

And what is the greater regret?

To have been pelted by the torrents,

and tamed the violent seas?

Or to have sat,

complacently

in the luke-warm shade

of life?
