So much of how we try to understand and explain human behavior becomes a "chicken and egg" question, doesn't it?

And, often what we pay attention to is what hits the facny of the social consciousness - as in PTSD after Vietnam as opposed to WWII (when we called it shell-shock, but gave it much less attention).

Emotions play a huge part in our decision-making - oftern far more than we realize.
