Truth

Truth
Hidden between the lines of all that remained unsaid
Omissions screaming louder than the spoken
But obscured by the fog of deception
A story
Not wrong
But not entirely right
Not complete

Truth
Cast astray by the incompleteness
Ignorance . . . Bliss? . . . Or the cloak that hides the obvious but obscure?
And the unsaid remains a lumbering giant
Deftly hidden by smoke and mirrors
A convenient complicity
Until, unchained it tosses the match
And slinks away
