When Atlas Shrugged

Photo by Siddhant Kumar on Unsplash

Atlas, so strong and silent

bearing the weight of our basest humanity

growing ever more stooped

and discouraged

and hopeless

And when Atlas did shrug

the heavens roared

the tides teamed

the skies grew dark

Mars tumbled into retrograde

And man fell to his knees
